Premier Digit is a persistent, palatable, warm season, tufted perennial grass that responds quickly to spring rainfall providing there is minimal frost damage present. Best sown in inland areas with lower rainfalls, Premier Digit has good tolerance to drought and frost with leaves remaining palatable when frosted.
Premier Digit is largely found on lighter well drained soils (sands, sandy loams, loams and clay loams) but very rarely on clays.
