Adder is a late flowering balansa bred to improve on the key traits of Viper, delivering larger seed size, improved seedling vigour and higher winter and spring dry matter production. Suited to the long growing seasons and winter dominant rainfall environments, Adder provides outstanding spring growth and highly nutritious feed for grazing animals, hay and silage production.
On farm, Adder also contributes Nitrogen to the overall system through biological Nitrogen fixation (Group C rhizobia), which helps build soil Nitrogen levels for subsequent crops and pastures.
