Prairie grass is an alternative short to medium rotation pasture species that provides palatable, high quality sheep and cattle feed from late summer through to early spring. With strong cool season production, it offers feed during cooler conditions while maintaining better heat tolerance than ryegrass. Implement rotational grazing for best results.
