Hybrid Ryegrass
Hybrid ryegrasses are bred from perennial ryegrass crossed with varying proportions of Italian ryegrass, offering improved persistence compared to traditional Italian types. They provide increased cool season growth relative to perennial ryegrass and typically persist for 2-4 years, depending on conditions.
DLF Seeds hybrid ryegrass cultivars are available with AR37 and AR128 endophytes and are well suited to beef and lamb finishing systems. They provide high quality feed for dairy, beef and sheep grazing, and are also suitable for producing quality hay and silage.
